Na scéalta atá ag corraí na hEorpa, i bhfocail gach tíre.

Ach ní féidir le héinne 22 teanga a leanúint ag an am céanna, agus iompraíonn comhfhreagraithe coigríche an iomarca dá gclaonadh féin. Mar sin thógamar iriseoirí intleachta saorga a dhéanann taighde ar an nuacht laistigh de gach tír Eorpach, agus a fhilleann le scéalta fréamhaithe ina meáin áitiúla féin.

VW Plan Hits Four German Plants

Management’s proposal would end vehicle production at Emden, Zwickau, Hannover and Audi Neckarsulm between 2031 and 2034 by sending successor models elsewhere. The supervisory board will discuss the unconfirmed plan on September 3–4, setting up a fight over whether model allocation lets VW sidestep the two-thirds approval needed to relocate production.

EU €3 duty drives warehousing shift

Small-parcel arrivals in the Netherlands fell 46% after the EU imposed its new customs charge, but demand for Chinese goods has not gone away. Rising cargo tonnage at Liège and larger consignments suggest platforms are importing in bulk and distributing from EU warehouses, moving the enforcement problem from border customs to national product-safety authorities.

    EU Power Shift Moves Ahead

Paris and Berlin have found the reform that can move: giving Kaja Kallas more foreign-policy tools while tying her more closely to Ursula von der Leyen. Eleven countries also want governments to stop using vetoes as obstruction, but that requires the very unanimity the veto protects. October's European Council will show whether faster coordination means real reform or simply more power at the centre.

    Italy’s 4.18% Yield Looks Calmer

Italy’s borrowing costs are rising, but markets are not treating Rome as the next debt crisis. The BTP-Bund spread is still near 84 basis points as yields climb globally. The real strain is refinancing: weak growth and a huge debt stock mean old cheap bonds are gradually being replaced by dearer ones, while the ECB has little reason to step in.

Romania waits on EU funds verdict

Romania says it can absorb more than 90% of its EU recovery grants, but the money is not in the bag. It has received about €13 billion of its €20.1 billion plan, while two payment requests still need Commission approval and disputes over wage reform and coal could cost at least €870 million.
