Zelensky says the US has restored Ukraine's missile warnings after a three-day gap. American satellites detect Russian ballistic missiles as they launch. That gives civilians minutes to take cover and air-defence crews time to prepare. Zelensky told NBC the warnings had been "blocked for some period of time," while European intelligence kept arriving (NBC). He gave no dates, and no US official has confirmed the pause.
Ukraine's air force has confirmed one missed warning. During the 13–14 October assault, it said partners gave no notice of the first ballistic wave but warned of three later ones (Ukrainska Pravda). That shows a gap on one night. It does not explain the longer interruption Zelensky described. Earlier reports said Trump's envoys threatened to cut intelligence over Kyiv's refinery strikes. Washington denies it, and nobody has linked that dispute to these warnings.
